Description

Japchae is a Korean dish made from sweet potato glass noodles stir-fried with vegetables and meat.


Ingredients

  • 200g sweet potato glass noodles
  • 100g beef, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Soak the sweet potato noodles in warm water for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pan, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add beef and cook until browned.
  4. Add onions, carrots, and bell peppers; stir-fry for 5 minutes.
  5. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  6. Drain the noodles and add to the pan.
  7. Pour in soy sauce and sugar; mix well.
  8. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
