Description
This recipe makes loaded potatoes in a slow cooker. You mix potatoes with cheese bacon and sour cream for a side dish.

- 5 pounds russet potatoes peeled and cubed
- 1 pound bacon cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh chives chopped
Instructions
- Place potatoes in your slow cooker.
- Add water to cover potatoes.
- Cook on high for 4 hours.
- Drain water.
- Mash potatoes.
- Mix in butter milk sour cream salt and pepper.
- Stir in half of the cheese and bacon.
- Add the rest of the cheese and bacon on top.
- Heat on low for 30 minutes.
- Garnish with chives and serve.
Notes
- Use russet potatoes for a light texture.
- Cook bacon before you start.
- Store leftovers in your fridge.
- Replace sour cream with yogurt to change the flavor.
