Ingredients

  • 500g ground lamb
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 250g pide dough
  • 100g tomato sauce
  • 100g shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
  4. Add ground lamb, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook until lamb is browned.
  6. Roll out pide dough on a floured surface.
  7. Spread tomato sauce on the dough.
  8. Add the spiced lamb mixture on top.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the lamb.
  10. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden.
