Tassot Cabrit is a delicious Halal fried goat dish, popular in Caribbean cuisine.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds goat meat, cut into pieces
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup flour
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate goat meat with lime juice, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper for at least 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Dredge marinated goat pieces in flour.
- Fry goat pieces in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides.
