Description
Seffa with Cinnamon and Almonds is a sweet couscous dish that combines fluffy couscous with warm spices and crunchy almonds.
Ingredients

- 2 cups couscous
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup almonds, slivered
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Boil water in a pot.
- Add couscous and cover. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Fluff couscous with a fork.
- Melt butter in a pan and add almonds, toasting until golden.
- Add sugar, cinnamon, and raisins to the couscous. Mix well.
- Serve warm, topped with toasted almonds and dusted with powdered sugar.
Notes
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- You can substitute raisins with dried apricots.
- This dish can be served warm or at room temperature.
