- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raspberry jam
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add softened butter to the flour mixture and mix well.
- Pour in the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small balls.
- Flatten each ball, add raspberry jam, and seal them.
- Place the buns on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen raspberries for jam.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the jam.
