Ingredients

- 1 whole chicken (about 3–4 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 lime, juiced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, vinegar, garlic, cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, oregano, and lime juice.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan, breast side up.
- Roast the chicken in the oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
