Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 lime, juiced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, vinegar, garlic, cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, oregano, and lime juice.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated.
  4. Place the chicken in a roasting pan, breast side up.
  5. Roast the chicken in the oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
