Description

A hearty and flavorful Korean stew made with kimchi and tuna.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of kimchi
  • 1 can of tuna (drained)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon of gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine kimchi, onion, and gochugaru.
  2. Add water and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add drained tuna and soy sauce.
  5. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in green onions and sesame oil.
  7. Season with salt to taste.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use aged kimchi for a stronger flavor.
  • Adjust spiciness by adding more or less gochugaru.
  • Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
