Description
A hearty and flavorful Korean stew made with kimchi and tuna.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups of kimchi
- 1 can of tuna (drained)
- 1 medium onion (sliced)
- 2 green onions (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon of gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
- 4 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, combine kimchi, onion, and gochugaru.
- Add water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add drained tuna and soy sauce.
- Simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in green onions and sesame oil.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use aged kimchi for a stronger flavor.
- Adjust spiciness by adding more or less gochugaru.
- Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
