Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix glutinous rice flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Shape the dough into rings and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
  6. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Let cool before serving.
