Ingredients

  • 500g Halal beef, minced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large roti or flatbreads
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add minced beef, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook until beef is browned.
  6. Warm the roti in another pan.
  7. Place the beef mixture on each roti.
  8. Add lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and yogurt.
  9. Wrap the roti tightly around the filling.
  10. Serve warm.
