- 1/2 cup vegan butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves ground
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup clear hard candies crushed
- 12 edible flowers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cream your vegan butter and sugar in a large bowl.
- Mix in your ground Earl Grey tea and vanilla.
- Add your gluten-free flour and salt.
- Stir until a dough forms.
- Roll your dough to one quarter inch thickness.
- Cut your dough into circles.
- Cut a smaller circle out of the center of each cookie.
- Place your cookies on a baking sheet.
- Fill the center holes with your crushed hard candies.
- Press your edible flowers onto the dough.
- Bake for 10 minutes until the candy melts and edges are firm.
- Let your cookies cool before moving them.
Notes
- Chill your dough for 30 minutes if it feels soft.
- Use food grade and pesticide free flowers.
- Store your cookies in an airtight container at room temperature.
