Ingredients

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 3 large egg whites
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon rosewater
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, sift almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk egg whites until foamy; gradually add granulated sugar and whisk until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites gently.
- Mix in rosewater until combined.
- Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let them sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, then cool.
- For filling, heat cream and pour over melted chocolate; stir until smooth.
- Once macarons are cool, pair them and fill with chocolate ganache.
Notes
- Store macarons in an airtight container.
- Let them sit for a day for better flavor.
- Adjust rosewater to taste.
