- 2 ripe plantains
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Peel the plantains and slice them diagonally into thick pieces.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the plantain slices until they are golden yellow, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Flatten each slice using a flat surface or a frying pan.
- Return the flattened plantains to the hot oil and fry until crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oil, drain on paper towels, and sprinkle with salt.
