Description

Homemade Big Mac Wraps capture all the flavors of the classic Big Mac in a lighter, handheld tortilla wrap, packed with seasoned beef, melty cheese, crisp lettuce, pickles, and a tangy homemade sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (85/15 lean-to-fat ratio)
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 4 taco-size flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pickles (for sauce)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray or a dash of olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, chopped pickles, and paprika to make the Big Mac sauce. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced onion, cooking until beef is browned and onions are tender. Season with salt and pepper, then drain any excess grease.
  3. Warm tortillas slightly to make them easier to fold.
  4. Spread a generous spoonful of Big Mac sauce down the center of each tortilla.
  5. Add cooked beef, shredded lettuce, sliced pickles, and shredded cheddar cheese over the sauce.
  6. Drizzle a little more sauce on top if desired.
  7. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly to form a wrap.
  8. Serve immediately or wrap in foil for later enjoyment.

Notes

  • Swap beef for ground turkey or plant-based meat for a lighter or vegetarian option.
  • Use lettuce leaves instead of tortillas for a low-carb or keto-friendly version.
  • Prepare the sauce a day ahead to enhance its flavor.
  • For a crunchier wrap, lightly toast in a dry skillet before serving.
